Green Photographer

I consider myself to be a green photographer mainly because I’ve been a vegetarian/vegan for such a long time now that it has affected my vision and my professional standards.

Reducing My Carbon Footprint

I take certain steps to reduce my carbon footprint in my personal life and also as a professional photographer. For example I have switched over from film to digital which is more ‘animal friendly’ and now use digital workflow exclusively. I cut down on printed promotional materials and use digital means of marketing. Also I deliver most work on digital media and always recommend ‘green printing’. However, there are certain aspects which are hard to overcome if I want to survive in this business, for instance, driving a car or using a computer. To make up for it at least to a degree I have decided to regularly donate a certain percentage of my business earnings to the World Land Trust. With any order or commission above £500 I donate money in my client’s name to preserve the rainforest.

Recieve a Gift Certificate

Every donation is accompanied by a gift certificate. After making a donation the World Land Trust will send a gift certificate which will outline the amount of acres purchased for preservation. To summerise, you’re getting a premium photography service at a very competitive price, and you’re also helping to save the rainforest and its wildlife.
